The Nardo Foundation was legally incorporated by the State of Georgia in July 2022.
The first full Board Meeting was held in October 2022.
The second full Board meeting was held in April 2023.

- Our founder, Dr. John C. Nardo, was elected Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Mr. Robert M. Fulghum was elected Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Jason Fulghum was elected Secretary.
- Our first scholarship, the Kay Brown Nardo Scholarship, for the Radiography program at Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, NC, was approved and enacted immediately in the 2022-2023 academic year.
The second full Board meeting was held in April 2023.
- The Nardo Foundation was declared tax-exempt by the US Federal Government and is now officially a 501(c)(3).
- The Board authorized the CEO to begin work on our second philanthropic endeavor: an innovation in teaching grant for K-12 teachers in DeKalb County, GA.
